The Albuquerque MMC Song Circle hosts a special Community SING Fundraiser to benefit Music that Makes Community on Wednesday evening, August 21 at the Norbertine Abbey. Albuquerque locals Sylvia Miller-Mutia, David Poole, and others will join Executive Director Conie Borchardt in singing MMC favorites and new songs and sharing meaningful stories of paperless song building community in the beautiful Abbey Church. Potluck Supper 5:30-6:30pm Song Circle 6:30-8:00PM Linda and the Abbey will provide beverages and light snacks. If you are able, please bring a simple dish to share for a potluck supper. (Feel free to bring your own plates and silverware, as well, to help minimize the environmental impact of using disposables.) When you arrive, drive to the "top of the hill"--you'll find us in the building to your left (Guadalupe Commons). Our monthly ABQ MMC Song Circles are free events, open to anyone/everyone in the community. Many of us find the practices, community, and songs we've gained through the MMC community incredibly enriching, and we are grateful for the ways that the MMC community continues to support us in this ongoing practice.
