Engaging practically and playfully with the liturgical seasons of Advent, Christmastide, and Epiphany, our Advent Worship Planning Workshop focused on Advent, Christmastide, and Epiphany (Year A), inviting participants to: CENTER in prayer and silence; READ sacred text with an ear for how it speaks in our contexts; SING diverse seasonal music from varied traditions and cultures, focusing mostly on paperless music while including a range of congregational song repertoires; COLLABORATE with others to imagine context-specific liturgy for our communities; Includes practical worship ideas, preaching/planning prompts, and suggested congregational songs and choral music from varied musical traditions.
